I’m a design leader, researcher, and product strategist with a specialization in creating collaborative human centered design processes and cultures.

I love solving complex problems and creating people-centric cultures and systems that enable design and product teams to do amazing work.

I'm particularly passionate about education, healthcare, and mental health, and I love working on early to mid-stage products with high complexity.

I’m currently the Vice President of Product Design at Garner Health where I’m building a design team to help people find better, more affordable healthcare.

Previously, I was the Senior Design Manager at Omada Health leading a team of designers and content strategists across multiple product lines. Learn more here about my approach to managing a design team.

I also have taught and facilitated design thinking workshops within Google and for other companies and non-profits.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Design is a way of thinking to help you consistently making good decisions with a particular goal in mind.

While this does apply to helping users achieve their goals on web and mobile UI, it’s a process that can also be applied to communication, public policy, business strategy, your life choices, and more. I think thinking ‘like a designer’ is a useful skill for anyone; whether you’re trying to be a designer, start your own business, or just make yourself happier.
